This attractive semi-detached villa is conveniently located in the Calamares area of Playa Blanca. It is just 800 metres from bars, restaurants and shops. There is a small sandy beach near nearby. The main beach is approximately 250 metres away in the centre of the resort, well within walking distance of the villa.

The accommodation is all on one level. It comprises of a master double bedroom having an en suite bathroom and patio doors to the pool. There are two further light and airy twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. The comfortable lounge / dining room is equipped with large sliding patio doors leading to the pool and sun terrace. This outstanding detached villa is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of Costa Tequise. It is a walk of a few minutes to the fine sandy beach and main central area with its many fine restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

The accommodation is on two levels. On the ground floor is an entrance hall, spacious lounge, separate dining room and fully fitted breakfast kitchen. There are also a twin bedroom and a shower room on this level.

This lovely detached bungalow is conveniently located in a quiet residential area and set back just 200 metres from the beach at Famara, one of the islands most popular resorts for water sports. The views from the villa are simply stunning with mountains to the rear and panoramic sea and coastal views to the front.

There is a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops within the immediate area. Caleta de Famara which has an array of restaurants specialising in locally caught fish and Spanish cuisine is just a two minute drive away. The location is great for walking and cycling and only ten minutes drive to the historic town of Teguise, the old capital. The villa is only a few minutes’ drive away from the favourite hang gliding take off point in Lanzarote.

The accommodation is accessed via double patio doors that face the sea. Inside, there is a lounge dining room with separate kitchen. This superb detached villa has magnificent coastal views and is located in the up market resort of Puerto Calero. The resort’s selection of fine restaurants and shops look across the superb marina are just a few minutes’ walk away. This high quality villa is located in the quiet residential area of Los Mojones and situated just behind the main town of Puerto Del Carmen. It is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday with easy access by foot to the marina, town centre and the beach just beyond. This stunning villa really does have everything you need on your Canaries holiday. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and offers a good selection of facilities for you to enjoy during your holiday.

On the ground floor the comfortable lounge area has a 37” flat screen satellite television and DVD player and patio doors leading to the terrace, pool and garden. Villa Parariso

This magnificent detached villa is situated at the end of a small driveway and is probably the most outstanding villa on the island. It is conveniently situated in the quiet residential area of Los Mojones. The fine sandy beach and the main central avenue of Puerto del Carmen are just 900 metres away. There is a good selection of restaurants, shops and a supermarket within a 10 minute walk of the villa.

This is a unique and opulent villa. A large wooden entrance door gives access to a grand hallway with a reception bar and toilet off. From the hallway there are three steps up to the main living area. To one side is a sumptuous sunken TV lounge with an enclosed fireplace, a magnificent indoor garden and water feature. Entertainment is provided by a satellite TV that receives English channels, a DVD player and a stereo system.

To the other side of the hall there is a home office desk with ADSL Internet connection and an open area leading to a second elegant and well furnished lounge. This contains leather sofas and chairs to seat eight people. From here, patio doors give access to three adjoining patio areas and the covered outdoor dining terrace.

The open plan kitchen diner is fully equipped with all modern appliances including a water cooler. All the accommodation is on one level from here and comprises of a master bedroom with king size bed, dressing area and full sized Jacuzzi fitted en suite bathroom. A second superb double bedroom contains a four-poster bed. There are also two spacious twin bedrooms and two separate shower rooms.

The villa occupies a large plot and boasts of the largest private pools in Lanzarote. It is a massive 18 metres long and 9 metres at the widest point. It has roman steps for easy access and benefits from solar heating all year round. At midday this pool heating will make it 3 to 5 degrees warmer than one without heating. As the pool is solar heated, its temperature will depend on the weather conditions.

Overlooking the pool and sun terraces that surround it is large covered outdoor dining terrace which contains a brick built barbeque complete with a kitchen equipped with a dish washer and fridge. Comfortable patio furniture is provided and will seat up to 10 people. A TV and stereo system are provided for entertainment.

In additional there is a luxurious therapeutic hot spa Jacuzzi with adjustable jets and a Nordic sauna for all to enjoy! Mature gardens to the front and rear add to the tranquil relaxing environment. Comfortable sun loungers with cushions and a parasol are provided for when relaxing on the extensive sun terraces.

The villa benefits from off-road parking for two or three cars. A small independent apartment, which is not part of the villa is occupied by the resident caretaker.

This lovely detached villa is approached through double gates. It is conveniently situated in the quiet residential area of Los Mojones. The fine sandy beach and main central avenue of Puerto del Carmen are less than a mile away. There is a good selection of restaurants, shops and a supermarket within 10 minutes walk of the villa.

The villa is elegant and well designed. The grand entrance hallway has a sweeping staircase to the first floor. All the accommodation is on one level from here and comprises of a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, a double bedroom with en suite shower room and two further twin bedrooms that share a separate family bathroom.

There is a spacious ‘L’ shaped lounge, with bar and a separate TV area. The dining room has a solid marble topped table with seating for eight people. Spanish house prices still falling

The editor of Spanish Property Magazine, Will Needham has said that property market investors will be interested to know that Spanish property prices are still falling. He also said that the best data available is showing that the decline is very likely to continue throughout the current year.

Needham said that whilst property prices are still falling, the rate of decline is easing off. He believes that the recent release of many properties at bargain prices will act as a stimulus to the market and that is likely to finally stop prices falling further.

He sounded a warning that high levels of unemployment, repossessions and bankruptcies are likely to continue for some time and this will have an obvious effect on economic recovery. Needham made these statements in response to a survey published by sunshine.co.uk which found that of all the countries in Europe, British Ex-Pats felt safest in Spain.

Spanish property market in Doldrums

Spain’s economy is giving very little indication of recovery. Despite the efforts of the government, the property market is still weighed down by falling prices. It is believed that the economy as a whole will only recover after an increase in property market activity.

The Governor of Spain’s central bank, Miguel Angel Fernandez Ordonez said on Tuesday that the reform of the savings banks, who are crippled with bad debt balances, should have been undertaken sooner.

Spain’s savings banks account for almost half of the country’s banking activity. Because of the bad debt that they are carrying on their books, they are unable to make new property related loans. The current levels of unemployment are linked to inactivity in the house building sector. This together with other underperforming sectors makes the country one of Europe’s most significant under-performers.

According to recently released data, Spain’s “Purchasing Managers’ Index” (PMI) showed that the service sector fell in March from 50.8 to 48.7. Conversely, the PMI for the whole of Europe showed a rise from 56.8 to 57.2 over the same period.
