The island was inhabited 3500 years ago. Alot of monuments of ancient times has been kept there. The most strange and wonderful island buildings are “Taula and talayots” about the mission of which is still under discussion. “Talayots” correspond a stone tower 10 meters in height and 15 – 20 meters in diameter. Taula ” is a T-shaped constructions 4 meters in height.

Not far from the Cala en Porter resort the unique complex of natural caves is located. They are situated on the top of the rock slopes that have a good view.
